Preople is a new venture of Meganova BV in Amsterdam, the innovative investment company of Boris Veldhuijzen van Zanten and Caspar Wenckbach and the driving force behind companies such as HubHop (Netherlands' first wireless internet service provider), SMSeenhuis (text-a-house.com), TAGnames (interactive marketing with textmessaging for mobile phones)and Junker (the first antispam service in the Netherlands based on challenge response technology).
The Preople.com concept orginated in early 2004, but developing the system only started at the beginning of 2005. The Preople.com site was first launched in mid March 2005. We add improvements and new features (almost) every day. Check our News page for regular updates.
